WOMAN Challenge: Women and girls Out Moving Across the Nation
18,377 people and 1,209 teams are participating in the 2008 WOMAN Challenge!
Here is what others are saying about the
WOMAN Challenge!

"I never realized just how much time I spend doing "nothing" - it could really count as something big. I started with the goal of just getting moving on a daily basis, beginning with only 1000 steps a day. In just five short weeks I've gone from barely walking around half a block with my teammates to walking an average of six miles a day while on vacation in Chicago! Those 10-15000 steps equated to a weight loss of five pounds - without cutting my favorite foods while on vacation! This challenge has really inspired me to keep going and work harder!"

"WWW GMDR A is made up of a group of women from over the country who, first of all, are, or have been, participating in Weight Watchers and try to talk to everyone and support each other daily. Through this we will keep each other moving - WE use the goose analogy where by flapping our wings we help the flock keep moving on to our goal of a healthy lifestyle."
