I was doing 5-10 miles a day. It felt great to be out hiking and exercising so much, but I didn't know what I was really taking advantage of. Last year I ended up having open heart surgery as well as angioplasty. I will be going in for surgery again next Friday. The exercise has been an effort this year and is about to become more so, but I won't give up. I now know how much I have taken for granted and I thank the Challenge for showing me this. I plan to continue with my exercise and become fully healthy again."
